After a cold night last night and some rain in the forecast, there could be some spotty ice in a few places early this morning. Pavement temperatures are cold enough for any light rain drops or drizzle to freeze on contact during a limited time.
Temperatures are rising and this should not be a prolonged problem. Some areas are seeing temperatures rise 4 to 5 degrees per hour!

I expect areas near the Mass. line to see temperatures rise above freezing later than the rest of the state. So this area could have some icy spots a little bit longer.
All areas of CT will go above freezing this afternoon and tonight for just wet roads.
