Watching with great interest the pattern change and the storms and rumors of storms... winter beauty coming soon? While most of us are thinking mistletoe and caroling with the crunch of snow underfoot, a few crazy surfers had a chance to get season confusion today.  The southerly flow ahead of last night's front brought some fine surf to southern Rhode Island today, along with favorable offshore winds (winds blowing from land to sea groom the wave faces nice and smooth) and bright sunshine. The water temp was around 50 degrees... May-like.  A few surfers were there for the fun - the above photo taken around lunchtime at Pt Judith - wave faces were about 7 feet in this picture.

Now that my wet-suit is drying, it's time to get excited for some snow before Christmas.
