The big weather topic lately seems to hinge on one question...will it snow for Christmas?

I will try to make an attempt to give some thoughts each day as we approach the 25th on some specific dates for stormy weather.

Keep in mind...the season has been lackluster for cold air related storms. There has been a developing warm flow for each event recently.

The ECMWF still seems a bit mild to me with a storm track a bit West of Ct. I can not discount this theme. The ECMWF has been a pretty good performer. Even this model does reflect some storm centers worth tracking over the next couple of weeks.

The GFS (for what it's worth) is trying to trend a bit more east and offshore with some storms. Timeline looks like this:

This coming Sunday-Monday (seems warm)

The 19th-20th.

Around the 23rd.

Oh and for giggles...around the 27th?

Please check my video for more details. Again, I AM NOT GUARANTEEING SNOW, but we should watch these low pressure centers. If history continues to repeat, they will end up soggy and not snowy.
