High pressure briefly keeps our weather quiet through Thursday "day".
The next storm center rolls by to our west allowing warm air to move up over Connecticut. There could be a bit of ice for Northern Connecticut Thursday Night initially, but even here it looks like rain for Friday Morning. A pretty good round of rain for Friday Morning as Winter arrives officially!
Cold air comes in on Northwesterly winds this weekend. There may be a flurry or two as the colder air comes in.
An interesting trend noted for Christmas Day. The 06Z GFS model is trending colder with a little more snow possible. It's way too early to get excited. As a matter of fact, shoreline temperatures may support more of a mix or rain.
Stay tuned.
