Here it is, the first day of winter and dandelions are still growing in the lawn here, and temperatures were up to 56 degrees this morning!  This month of December has certainly been running above normal! 

Here in Hamden, the average high has been 47.5 and the average low 33.8. In fact, the average low in November was 33.1!  In addition, the numbers of times the temperature has dipped below 32 this month has been only 8 times compared with 16 times in November.
