The snow started on Saturday around 1pm, and fell to just about 11pm, here at my house in Hamden. Snowfall rates varied from about a .50" to 1.25" per hour throughout the duration of the event. The snowfall had been originally been predicted to be about 3 to 6", but in the end my final total was 8.4"" For the week it was the third snow event bringing the monthly snow total to 12"! It looks like it will stick around this week with temperatures expected to remain at or below freezing, it will both look and feel like winter now!
