3pm Temps, Hartford Spikes to 57?

First - Thanks to overcast conditions, we stayed in the low to mid-40's today...
Second - I noticed east of the Appalacians stayed in the 30's, while west of the mountains got into the 40's. (hard to see with image above)
Lastly - Hartford at 57? I'm pretty sure climate control will fix this one , but it's not the first time I've seen spikes. Here is HFD's hourly OBS link. http://www.erh.noaa.gov/box/obs/HFDobs.html

Here's a look at Willimantic's spike over the summer. I wonder if these are actually removed from statistics. Notice the 99 degrees up from 77 in 1 hour.
