I'm actually impressed we're staying in the 40s today. Thanks to the clouds hiding that sun. Normal highs are 30s, so we are above normal.
Tomorrow "should" get into the 50s.
Grand Rapids Michigan normal high is 31. They are at 55° right now. 24 degrees above normal and Warmer than CT. Buffalo at 59°. Their normal high is 31 also.
Back in Connecticut...We haven't had a below normal night or day since January 3rd.
In fact...Daily mean temperatures below normal since December 1st. (42 days)
BDR: 6 times
BDL: 8 times
If we had a month like we did in November we would be hearing more complaints, but it's pretty a pretty warm winter so far (less warm than last year). But all signs are pointing to a very cold second half of January and maybe thereafter.
