Tonight we could expect snowfall totals as high as 3-6" in northeastern Connecticut and as much as 1-3" in the middle of the state and less than 1" in the southwestern part of the state.
Tuesday through Thursday, there is a break from the action, then on Friday we could see snow to start to fall around noon time or later. We could get from 6-12" at the shoreline to 8-14" inland. The people who live in hilly terrain areas could expect a slippery commute back home from work. If it comes down hard I won't drive on the hills and would try to avoid any large hills or mountains. The flakes will start flying at around noon-2:00pm for western Connecticut and 3:00-5:00pm in eastern Connecticut and end Saturday morning before daybreak western Connecticut and 5:00-7:00am Eastern Connecticut.
