This storm that I have been tracking for the past week, for Tuesday to Thursday of next week, is looking like a big storm. I think it will start out as snow and will shift to rain fairly quickly. Then it looks like it will turn back into snow.

This storm will hit in two punches. There will be a line of snow/rain and then a break, but then into a stronger round. The GFS model that I have at the top of the screen is the second round of precipitation that I am expecting. I will have more updates as this storm comes closer.

The storm tonight: I am predicting 1 inch for most of Connecticut with isolated 2 inch amounts closer to the shore.
