Well, it’s cold out there! This weekend, expect fair conditions with temps still below that freezing mark.

As I said yesterday, here is the good news: Monday many locations will just crack the freezing mark. By Tuesday many area will see highs in the mid-40’s. However, expect it to be cloudy, the good news is still that it is above 30 degrees.

And of course the bad news, the bad news is by next Wednesday a powerful cold front will approach Connecticut, with yet again more Arctic hounds yapping at our door step. Wednesday looks to be a tradition day. This meaning it will likely be warm, but temperatures will fall later in the day.

How cold will it be? It is very possible that this new Arctic outbreak could be just as cold as the Arctic outbreak we are currently in. It is still very questionable whether any storm systems will develop and ride along this cold air mass. Also in question is how long this Arctic air will last, but signs are pointing that this new Arctic air mass may stay for a while.
