So I have been tracking this storm for a few days. Here is what I think will happen.
There are already Winter Weather advisories for all inland counties of the state. I think there will still be snow on the shore, but there will be a quicker changeover for the shore than inland.
Clouds will build up from west to east across the state around 4 AM. The snow will start around lunch across the state. I think there will be a heavier line of snow across the state around 1 PM before it switches over. I think the shore will switch over around 2 PM and inland will switch around 4 PM. The shore my also change over to all rain for portions around 6 PM. This system will be over around 10 PM with some lingering flurries or rain showers.
I think that northern connecticut will see around 2-4 inches. I wouldn't be surprised to see isolated 5, 6 inch amounts in Litchfield county. I think that south-eastern Connecticut will see 1-3 inches. I think the farther west and south you go, the more rain you will see. I think there will mostly be less than one inch for Waterbury and Danbury.
There could also be ice problems tomorrow. Anywhere across the state could see 1/10 to 1/4 inch of ice on top of the snow which could create a messy monday.
Thanks for reading,
Stay safe!
