It's hard to believe, but Wednesday night we could have heavy rain with damaging winds.   There are still more details to be determined.

NWS of Upton, N.Y. says,

"A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE AREA ON WEDNESDAY AND MOVE THROUGH BY EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. THERE IS A CHANCE OF STRONG AND POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AHEAD OF THE FRONT."

This winter has been interesting. We have a state in which we get all kinds of weather, anywhere from tornadoes to hurricanes. And from damaging winds to snow, we have basically all the climate there is! But this week, we have a change from 20 degrees in some places to near 60 degrees! We could see damaging winds also. Like New England's saying and one of my favorite sayings, "If you don't like the weather in New England... wait a minute." Many people who have seen a tornado haven't seen real snow. Many people who have seen real snow, haven't seen a tornado. Connecticut is a mixture of all weather events. Take a look at Hurricane Sandy, in the same week as that we had an earthquake! Once you have lived in Connecticut for maybe 15 to 20 years. You have most likely seen all the weather elements there are, (Considering the tornado maybe you haven't seen, however Connecticut does see tornadoes sometimes!) Well, it's hard to believe the weather in Connecticut. It's just amazing.
