Gusty thundershowers moving across N.J., N.Y. and Conn. early this morning may produce locally damaging wind gusts.
Radar around 2 a.m. Thursday indicated heavy showers with embedded thunder and lightning moving across Connecticut and adjacent areas. The Storm Prediction Center highlighted the region under a risk for isolated damaging wind gusts through the pre-dawn hours. They do not anticipate having to issue a Severe Thunderstorm Watch, but trends are being monitored.
