Welcome to February with a chill!
Talk about some cold air advection. From 50s and 60s yesterday to 20s and 30s this morning...WOW! Not to mention Wind Chill values that are even lower.
Colder air, lake moisture and a storm heading by to our south will increase the threat for a few flurries. Couple towns could get a very brief dusting! Enfield was dusted up already earlier today!
Cold weather and a sunny start tomorrow! Clouds sneak in for the late afternoon. A trough will be dropping across our area on Saturday Night and Sunday prior to developing a low offshore. Some light snow expected. Model guidance pretty much agrees with around 1" of snow right now. It develops too far east for much more than that.
Other quick moving snow possibilities are in the forecast for Monday Night, & Wednesday. Not seeing a favorable pattern for storms climbing the East Coast with heavy amounts of precipitation. At least not yet!
