Heavy snow is falling across just about all of the state, although some occasional mixed precipitation was reported near the shoreline from New Haven and points east.
Snowfall totals so far range anywhere from 7 to 17 inches, with the highest amounts across New Haven and Middlesex Counties.
The worst of the snow is expected between now and about 1 or 2 a.m.
