Top Five Snowstorms All-time
- Portland, Maine: All-time record snowstorm (31.9"); Old record from Jan. 17-18, 1979 (27.1")
- Hartford, Conn.: (Bradley International Airport): Second-heaviest snowfall on record (22.3)"; record is from Jan. 12, 2011 (24").
- Worcester, Mass.: Third heaviest snowstorm all-time (28.7"); Record is 33" from "April Fools' 1997".
- Concord, N.H.: Second heaviest snowstorm all-time (24").
- Boston (Logan Airport): Fifth heaviest snowstorm on record (24.9").
Peak snow total came from a report in Hamden, Connecticut of 40 inches.
Some of the highest wind gusts over 60 mph during the winter storm:
- Nova Scotia: just east of Yarmouth (102 mph)
- Maine: Mount Desert Rock (89 mph)
- Maine: Appledore Island, Isle of Shoals, a small group of islands off the New Hampshire/Maine coast (87 mph)
- Massachusetts: near Cuttyhunk (83 mph)
- Connecticut: Westport (82 mph; elevation 139')
- New Hampshire: Mt. Washington (81 mph; elevation 6262')
- New York: near Plum Island (75 mph)
- Maine: Bangor International Airport (75 mph)
- Rhode Island: Jamestown (68 mph)
Additional peak wind gusts:
- Hyannis, Mass.: 77 mph
- Boston (Logan Airport): 76 mph
- Buzzard's Bay, Mass.: 74 mph
- Scituate, Mass.: 68 mph
- Plymouth, Mass: 63 mph
There were over 664,000 customers without power with the most in Massachusetts.
Boston experienced a storm surge of about 4.2 ft (1.3 m), its fourth-highest.

Total snow amounts are still potentially 10-26+ inches. Certainly, this potential historic winter storm could easily fall into the top ten snowstorms for some cities since records were kept by the NOAA.
