9 AM: Winter Weather Update

At 9 a.m., many inland areas were reporting freezing rain with even a bit of snow and sleet in the northern hills. The shoreline had changed to plain rain as temperatures were in the upper 30's. The rain/ice/snow line continues to move northward.

-Slippery travel will continue across the northern half of the state.
-The northeast hills may stay below freezing for the rest of the morning.
-Temperatures in all areas will slowly rise throughout the morning.
-All areas rise above freezing by early afternoon.
-Precipitation tapers off to patchy drizzle with areas of fog.
