SREF model forecast.

We could see a snowstorm Wednesday Night into Thursday. It doesn't look TOO major. As far as accumulations, I think we might get around 2-8" statewide with the least near the Mass. line and the most in southern Connecticut.

NEW MODEL DATA:

The new SREF (Short Range Ensemble Forecast System) 1000-500 thickness chart is showing a developing low pressure system. It looks like it will give the Nantucket area heavy precipitation. In my opinion, it looks like southeastern Connecticut will get the heaviest snow according to this model.

ALSO:

There is a chance for a nor'easter Saturday Night into Sunday and the CHANCE for 12"+ across the state. This will add to the weight of the snow and could make roofs collapse.
