......so the saying goes. I have always thought of this to mean make the best of what you have. Luckily for us we have a great neighborhood. After being snowed in for 3 days from one of the worse snow falls in who knows how long, and having 2-3” of snow on the street in Stratford Ct, one brave soul decide to start clearing the street. More neighbors joined in and pretty soon there were 4 snow blowers and about 20 people out in the street shoveling. We have always been a very close knit neighborhood and this proved just how close. In a short time the street and 12 houses were clear. We tried to have a block party last summer but schedules never coincided so I guess this is the party we never had. Unfortunately there were no hot dogs or hamburgers at this one, only sore bodies and wet clothes. Thank you to all for being the best.
