The picture above is the 12z GFS Model for how much precipitation we will get. It shows about a foot of snow forecasted, mainly east of I-91. There is growing confidence that we will get snow. It looks like (according to this model) the most will be east of I-91. In NW CT the 12z GFS is only showing about 5". We need to watch this closely, as this could possibly be a significant snowfall event. The new 12z NAM is showing only about 3" as the highest total. I will make a EARLY accumulation map hopefully later tonight.
