Technical Discussion:
Sunshine returns for Monday as the area is in the clear between two storm systems. There were very few changes made to the previous forecast.
Still expecting light rain Tuesday afternoon, but critical thicknesses could support a change to sleet or even wet snow inland, especially during the evening hours. Timing will be key, as temperatures will be only marginally cold for frozen precipitation.
Seasonably cool weather expected for the rest of the week and the next threat of precipitation may come by Saturday. Euro/GFS currently showing light snow on Saturday, but will keep the forecast mostly cloudy until confidence in snow increases. This is still 5-6 days out.

Monday: Mostly sunny skies, not as cold as yesterday. Highs in the low to mid-30's.
Tonight: Increasing clouds. Lows in the teens inland, low to mid-20's shore.
Tuesday: Afternoon light rain, may change to a mix inland. Highs in the low to mid-40's.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, breezy and cooler. Highs in the mid-30's.
Thursday: Mostly sunny skies. Highs in the mid to upper 30's.
Friday: Sunshine followed by clouds. Highs around 40.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 30's.

Note: Inland temperatures are an average. Often times, outlying areas may be a few degrees cooler than the advertised temperature on the 6-day graphic.
