Over North Haven at about 10 pm on February 8, 2013, this video captures the intensity of the snow and some gusty winds with snow mixing in with some sleet, which was combined together into balls of mixed precipitation. At this time, I measured between approximately 16 to 17 inches of snow accumulation.
The intense snowband persisted for most of the night over mainly the center part of the state of Connecticut. Personal estimated snowfall rates were about 2-3.5 inches for several hours and 1-3+ inches for basically the entire night in North Haven. Storm total by the morning was about 30 inches of snow accumulation.
