Hard to believe we are talking rain for later today! Mild air will surge through the lowest layers of the atmosphere before the rain arrives this afternoon. There could be a few flakes mixing in at the end as the atmosphere cools tonight. Temperatures are expected to reach the 40s later today reducing the snow and ice threat.

A flurry possible with the windy and colder air tomorrow. some pretty good wind gusts expected through the day.

Quiet Thursday and Friday with some clouds moving through. There are hints of a weak trough moving through Friday Night-Saturday Morning and a rain or snow shower is possible.

All eyes on Saturday late night and Sunday now with a storm sliding by to our South. The European weather model and GFS weather model both show a pretty good area of precipitation over the state. temperatures are marginal at the shoreline and colder inland for all snow there!

The ECMWF has had a very good track record for this Winter so far. We will be watching this closely!
