It's a mostly quiet night across the state, with the exception of the gusts coming out of the west. Lows will be in the teens to the 20's, so windchill values will be icy. We could see a spot flurries for some towns-- I  actually caught a couple of flurries when I was up by Enfield today...

Otherwise dry conditions until late Friday, when a coastal storm heads NE. Now this system will mostly miss us, but we will not be in the clear. We will have a mix of rain and snow, but temperatures will be warmer, so  mostly rain for the daytime. The system moves on by late Sunday,s o next week starts off dry and warmer. Looks like a chance for rain on Tuesday.

I'd like to invite you all to watch my interview at Wxedge.com with a student from Sandy Hook, Grace Herrick, who is submitting a solar updraft tower she built into the MIT Clean Energy Conference. We're all so proud of her!
