Messy weather is on the way Tuesday night and Wednesday and the commute Wednesday morning promises to be an ugly one.
Most of Tuesday is dry, even some sun...thickening clouds in the evening.
After 9pm, the precip arrives from SW to NE.
The shoreline can expect all rain.
North Of I-95, we could see 1-2" of slush and ice before changing to all or mainly rain.
The NW Hills will remain snow and ice much longer, and that means 3-6" before beginning to mix with rain Wednesday.
Everyone can expect big winds, gusting up to 45mph tonight and especially on Wednesday.
Along the shoreline, coastal flooding will also be a concern by Wednesday morning.
In addition, with up to 1" of rain and the melting snow, river and small stream flooding can also be expected on Wednesday.
