Heavy Precipitation Across The Area

As of 6:50 A.M. heavy rain was falling in New London county. A heavy rain band has set up across portions of New Haven,New London and Middlesex counties. This band is producing very heavy rainfall. Doppler estimates of 0.4" of rain falling in an hour in some areas.
Some Areas Across Connecticut Have Already Picked Up 1".
Heavy rain will continue for the next few hours. Sleet is still being reported in extreme northwestern Connecticut. Luckily, as of 7:10 A.M. only 122 outages from CL-P were reported.
