WINTER STORM WARNING for most of CT
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for some towns along the shoreline
Rain snow line still south of CT at 6PM on models, but I do think there's already enough cold air in place to allow snow to make it to the surface by about 5-6PM. The winds will be easterly, but again there is enough cold air and the easterlies are actually providing enough moisture to keep this system hanging onto a lot of precip. In addition those easterlies may just keep this system moving slower across the state. With Spring just two days away, it doesn't look like we'll very Spring-like conditions. Temperatures will remain below normal and clouds will be lingering allowing for less daytime heating. Added a chance of some light rain later on Thursday, and the weekend looks fine now, with clouds building later on Sunday--
