Hey, I've always taken a slightly different approach to expressing how I feel about the weather. I was fortunate to marry a woman who once in a while will feed off of my twisted nature to go along with an idea for a goof. Such was the case with this picture, and from the beginning it was meant to be a Christmas card shot. The hard part was initially convincing our son, but once we did he was just as out of control as we were. Of course his hand is too small to palm that ball, but duct tape works wonders folks...lol! My wife was quite the sport with the fur coat (I'll leave the rest to your imagination) and as for me, my feet were about a minute away from frostbite by the time we finished the shot.

I've had numerous people ask me about Photoshop, but I swear on a stack of Bibles that everything you see here is where it was for the picture. I hit the timer on the camera and ran to the chair. We did three takes and then ran into the house to warm up. It was so worth it to have this family memory, and to give you something to smile about on this first day of Spring. It might be cold outside today, we might have snow on the ground and in the forecast (Monday could be interesting folks) but warm weather, outdoor basketball and beach conditions are right around the corner!
