It's a very chilly day for April 3! I decided to head up to Burr Pond in Torrington to see if the pond was still frozen. It turns out that it is mostly still frozen and in fact quite thick and you could walk on it in the shady areas. The trails are completely icy and snowy too. The winds are blowing up to about 35 mph and temperature is around 38 degrees. It is feeling like mid-winter and not April today!!
