A nice trend ahead after a cold start earlier today! High pressure and 50s will make for a nice afternoon today! Slightly colder near Long Island Sound as the wind comes in off of the cold water. Here's a look at the cold water temperature graph:

The only other issue will be the high pollen level today.

A storm offshore tomorrow will send a little rain our way. Mainly for the shoreline. Not much if any at all inland. Back to nice weather with 50s Saturday. 

There are signs of a big pattern change allowing warmer air to move up over Connecticut next week. For gardeners, the soil temperature should warm up with higher nightly lowe temperatures. Stay tuned!
