High pressure, causing both beauty and some cooler temps today.  This high pressure is off to the northwest of us.  Keep in mind that high pressure rotates clockwise, so we're going to have north winds, shifting NE as high pressure comes towards us.  A cooler flow will cause cooler temperatures this afternoon.  In fact, a good 5-10 degrees colder for our fine state.

The next weathermaker will move up the coast Monday and Tuesday, giving us clouds, but the models have now started to back off precipitation in Connecticut, showing most of the moisture being off to the east of us.

Wednesday night a cold front will pass by, giving us some showers but not a total washout, and dry weather starts Thursday.

No 70s in site unfortunately :/
