It's been an unusually dry stretch from April up to now at my station in Hamden. No rain has been recorded this month of May so far! In fact, the last time we had measurable rain was April 20, with .28" recorded. Before that it was April 12 when .58 was recorded. Typically April and May are frequently wet, so its a bit unusual to go 18 days without any rainfall! It does look like the dry stretch will be over after today with my rain gauge finally getting some action!
