For nearly twenty days the Northeast has been under the influence of dominating high pressure and beautiful weather. Sinking air, low humidity, abundant sunshine, cobalt blue skies and clear, starry nights have been the rule lately. Sure, we've dealt with the high pollen counts and increasing concerns for drought...(yes, after a brutal Winter I typed the word drought in early May) but I have yet to find anyone in the state who didn't enjoy this stretch of fair weather. We even had a back door cold front mixed in, and it practically went unnoticed or remembered in the mix.
