A group of WXedge Team members, including Zachary Duhaime, Stephen Gode, Elisa Caban, Anthony Giannotti and myself traveled up to Marlborough, Conn. for a Skywarn Spotter training class Thursday night. In total, 57 members of the public attended with 10 representatives from Team WXedge. Chris Perreault and Bradley Rotatori were also there.

The 3-hour class focused on explaining severe weather and how to report it to the National Weather Service (NWS). The NWS heavily relies upon reports from Skywarn Spotters all around the country to issue watches, warnings and other forecasts.

Check out this slide-show for some photos from the event.

An additional article by Chris Perreault on the class.

A special thanks goes to Elisa for helping take some of these photos.
