Mid-Atlantic Continues to Get Slammed

After the powerful derecho moved through on June 29th, some severe thunderstorms banged up Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey yesterday. Now, another round of severe thunderstorms is developing in the mid-Atlantic region.

The area in and around Washington, D.C. is right in the thick of things, which is bad news since there was a lot of storm damage just over a week ago when the derecho brought winds of 60 to 80 miles per hour to the area.
