Tropical Storm Dorian remains on a westward track through the open Atlantic.

As of the 5 p.m. Friday advisory from the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Tropical Storm Dorian had maximum sustained winds of 45 MPH. The storm has become to weaken somewhat and looks less organized on satellite imagery. As a result, the NHC expects the storm to weaken to a Tropical Depression by later this weekend. A general westward track is expected into early next week.
