As Tropical Storm Isaac moves towards towards Cuba, the storm could have a big impact on the island. However, the bigger impact might be on Isaac...

Isaac, so far, has had a tough time strengthening. Even as of Friday morning, the system is a relatively weak Tropical Storm. The center has not been well-defined and the National Hurricane Center (NHC) has commented on its lack of organization.

What does this all mean?
Well, at one point, forecasts had a Category 1 or Category 2 hurricane approaching Florida. Now, it looks like Isaac may barely be a Tropical Storm.

In fact, Cuba could completely rip apart Isaac.
The track is what's key.

The important facts:
-The trend over the past several days is for Isaac to be weaker than forecast.
-Isaac will soon be interacting with land.
-Hurricanes thrive off of warm, tropical moisture. They tend to weaken over land.
-Some forecasts keep Isaac over Cuba for an extended period of time.

Read on for more details as to why Cuba might be trouble for Isaac.
