These boats are pushed into the brush Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999 on the island of Eleuthera after Hurricane Floyd passed over the Bahamas on Tuesday with 110mph winds.
Hurricane Floyd slammed the Bahamas, before it brushed up the East Coast of the United states between September 15th and 17th, 1999.
Although the worst of the storm hit areas of the Bahamas, North Carolina and Virginia, Connecticut did see significant flooding from the storm.
