The NHC forecast continues to trend closer to the East Coast.
The five day forecast cone from the NHC now brings the center of the storm to a position about 300 miles south of Cape Cod by Monday afternoon.
Disclaimer:
It is important to note that the exact forecast track of the center of the storm WILL CHANGE, so anyone in or NEAR the forecast cone should stay tuned to the latest forecasts and be prepared to take necessary action.
The storm will not impact the area until Sunday at the earliest, so there is still plenty of time for forecasts to change and time to prepare. Also, the storm is forecast to be very large, so many areas, even far away from the storm's center, will likely be impacted.
The NHC also stresses the uncertainty:
"THE UNCERTAINTY IN THE LONG-RANGE TRACK FORECAST REMAINS VERY HIGH...AND IT IS TOO EARLY TO DETERMINE SPECIFIC IMPACTS FOR THE U.S. EAST COAST NORTH OF FLORIDA."
