Next Week May Turn Stormy

There are indications that an East Coast storm may be brewing for next week.

It is important to remember that any potential storm is currently seven (7) to eight (8) days away and a lot can change. The bottom line is that the potential for a storm around the Tuesday/Wednesday November 27/28 time-frame is increasing. The exact evolution and track of the storm will determine what precipitation, if any, we may see.

The computer models show a system developing across the Plains around Monday.

We are seeing fairly good agreement between the models. They are showing a shortwave digging into the central Plains, sometime around Monday of next week. The surface reflection shows a low pressure center getting ejected towards the East Coast. It's the evolution and track of that system that will be extremely important for the East Coast.
