Inland forecast:

Rest of today:
Sky conditions have trended mostly sunny, so that has helped push temperatures into the low and mid-50s in most areas. It was a bit cooler in some of the northern CT towns. There are no travel concerns anywhere across the East Coast of the U.S. There were some delays around the Great Lakes due to fog, but conditions are improving. The Pacific Northwest remains stormy.

Thanksgiving:
High pressure moves in and it looks like a great day for the holiday. There should be plenty of sunshine with just a few passing clouds here and there. This also means slightly warmer temperatures as highs rebound into the mid-50's. All in all it looks like a very pleasant day as temperatures will be about 5 degrees above average.

Friday:
Mild weather continues and for those hitting the stores at midnight, temperatures should be in the upper 30's to near 40. That's not too bad for this time of the year. During the day, sunshine will give way to some late afternoon and evening clouds ahead of a cold front. Highs should generally reach the mid to upper 50's. There could be an evening sprinkle or quick shower in a few spots, mainly across western CT.
