Above image is a summary of the meteorological fall (September through November) across southern Connecticut and the New York City metropolitan area.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Upton, N.Y., Sikorsky Airport in Stratford, Conn. had it's snowiest fall on record. The same can also be said for JFK Airport.

Although the season was generally dry, Sikorsky Airport was one of the few reporting stations from the area that actually recorded above normal precipitation for the period. This was largely due to the fact that they had their 4th wettest September on record.
