SPC: 1-3'' Per Hour Snowfall Rates

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) expects 1-2" per hour snowfall rates to move into New York State and extreme western Connecticut later this afternoon and into the early evening hours. They also say that snowfall rates could be as high as 3" per hour in the heaviest bursts of snow.
