A storm system is spreading snow up the East Coast. As midday Wednesday, snow was falling across much of Pennsylvania with some light rain and light snow across southern New Jersey. This precipitation will eventually move into Connecticut.

Snow is expected to move into southwestern Connecticut between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The snow may quickly start to accumulate on all surfaces, including I-95 along the immediate shoreline.
Be prepared for POSSIBLE travel problems during the evening rush hour.
The snow will take a few more hours to overspread the rest of the state, so portions northeastern Connecticut may not see snow until after 4 or 5 p.m.

Later this evening, warmer air will begin to push the rain/snow line northward into Connecticut, but stay tuned as forecasts are being updated.
