Scott Cimini

Hey Everyone, I'm Scott from North Haven, CT. I am a self proclaimed weather geek and love to follow the weather.  I love weather because it's so hard to predict and because of the sheer power of it. I remember as a child that many times instead of going outside and playing, I would stay inside and watch the Weather Channel for hours.

I enjoy writing about weather because there is always something to write, talk, or blog about.  In addition to writing for wxedge.com, I also operate a local weather blog called "The Fast & Flurrious Weather Blog" at http://www.ctweathergeeks.com.  You'll find me on facebook, twitter (@ctweathergeek), and many other social media platforms too.

I am also happy to announce that I am now an official skywarn spotter and I'll be reporting severe conditions to the National Weather Service if I see anything.
