Steve MacLaughlin

Steve grew up in New Jersey and joined News 8 in January of 2011. He has worked at WPIX in New York City, WPHL in Philadelphia, KXAS in Dallas and at The Weather Channel in Atlanta. Early in his career he was a weather producer at NBC New York and "The Today Show," but his first on-air job was at News 12 Connecticut.

MacLaughlin graduated with honors from Rutgers University in 1998 and received the American Meteorological Society Television Seal Of Approval in 1999. Steve has been nominated for five Emmy Awards including "Best Weathercaster" three times. He has won two Emmys and a "Best Weathercast" award by the Associated Press.
