Richard Sparago

I am a weather enthusiast from Milford. I work as a Compliance Officer for a major pharmaceutical company, but I have always been passionate about the weather. I'm a snow and cold-weather lover, and I'm not much for the recent 100+ degree days we've had the last few summers. I live with my 18-year-old daughter, who is a full-time, commuting student at Quinnipiac.

I enjoy weather because I think it has a huge impact on our lives. People choose to live where they do, often because of the climate. It's fascinating to read about the various weather influences, from El Nino to the huge high-pressure system over Greenland (which I wish we had this year). I'm looking forward to making contributions to this site. I also enjoy photography, so this will give me a chance to put both my love of weather and photography to use.
